Hubbell | Identifying Solutions for National Safety Month

Posted by Andy Penkalski in Facility and Safety Identification

Earlier this month, we looked at Leviton's stream of resources that have been made available for May's National Electrical Safety Month. To round out the season, we will look at some of the resources and benefits of Hubbell's wiring devices.

Hubbell Wiring Systems' commitment to helping you maintain a safe workplace environment has allowed for many products like the Twist-Lock® to become industry standards. Since introducing the first safety receptacle, Hubbell has always been focused on safety.

A standard in Safety:

  • Hubbell Twist-Lock® plugs and receptacles ensure mating only with the correct voltage and amperage.

  • All Hubbell ground fault
receptacles and temporary power distribution systems provide a high level of personell protection.
  • Lockout-tagout features and devices offer a means to protect workers by avoiding unintentional engergizing of equipment during diagnostics or repair.

  • Hubbell's full line of watertight devices provides protection against electrical shock and wet environments.

  • Hubbell Circuit-Lock® disconnects and Motorquick® motor controllers enable safe control and disconnection of power in the industrial environment.

  • Hubbell wire management and hose & cable protection systems safeguard cables and cords, ultimately protecting people by preventing damaged circuits and minimizing trip hazards.

Additionally, Hubbell has made available an array of resources to ensure that protocol is met when evaluating potential safety problems. Their step-by-step evaluation checklist can be viewed or downloaded below.
