Carlo Gavazzi Expands ICB Series line of Inductive Proximity Sensors

Posted by Nathan Vanderloop in Sensors

This month, Carlo Gavazzi announced three additions to their ICB Series of inductive proximity sensors. The 'extra-extended' ICB12, ICB18 and ICB30 sensors boast ranges up to three times the distance of Carlo Gavazzi's standard M12, M18 and M30 cylindrical  inductive proximity sensors. The cULus-certified line is defined by their onboard microprocessor, which combines their range benefits with expanded data transmission capacity. You can find more information on the additional improvements to the line in the video below.

Additionally, these changes to Carlo Gavazzi's line is also leading to a handful of discontinuations for some of their current sensing products. The new ICB series will replace all 3-wire DC IA inductive sensors and older non-flush versions of the M12 and M18 ICB series. You can find more information on these discontinuations by clicking here.
