What's your favorite indoor/outdoor activity? Why?
Depends on the season! If I am not watching a sporting event, then I love to hang with family and friends at the pool or by a firepit. I love the outdoors. If I must be indoors, then I love to do arts and crafts or Netflix. I love craft fairs and I keep saying I might have a booth someday.
Who inspires you? Why?
My family inspires me to be a better person. I want to be the best role model for my children (Devin 23, Maddie 13 & Peyton 13) and I never want to let my parents down.
What are you currently watching on Netflix/streaming service?
I just finished watching Stranger Things, First Kill, Spiderhead, Boo Bitch, etc. I am kind of a streaming junkie. I also like to watch Naked & Afraid and Married at First Sight.
What's the most beautiful place you've seen/traveled?
My favorite place I visited so far would be Costa Rica: however, I have several places on my bucket list.
What is your personal philosophy?
Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff and It’s All Small.
How has this guided you?
If you won’t remember what happened a year from now, then don’t let it get you down. I try to be positive, love what I have, and live each day to the fullest!
What is the one thing you can't live without?
My family & the sun and clouds! The family goes without saying but as for sun & clouds, I love to watch sunrises & sunsets…plus, I believe I am solar-powered. I am also the person who lays on my back and watch cloud formations.
What's something most people don't know about you?
I have coached at least 5 All American Athletes in shotput and discus. During that time, I had 8 athletes make it to state in those events.
If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
I would plan a vacation around the world with the family. Then, start on my bucket list.
If you had three wishes, what would you wish for?
- My loved ones to live long healthy lives
- My loved ones to be financially independent
- Wish for 3 more wishes
What is your favorite part of working at Standard Electric?
My favorite part of working for Standard Electric would be its family-friendly environment. I used to work for GE and there I was a number. Here, Larry knows everyone’s name including their family. I didn’t know that people in an organization could care that much.
