Once setup is configured, the server sends notifications directly to the connected mobile devices. The users set up for the same notifications have the possibility to collaborate on incoming issues together in the same notification network.
With the Notifier, you have the ability to specify the user roles, allocate devices, and configure messages on the server using a simple and efficient web-engineering tool. Advantages of the SIMATIC Notifier include:

As mentioned on The Vault, the app can be configured to show three different notification categories: alert, warning, and information (see below). Devices connect over WiFi for secure encrypted communications.
The SIMATIC Notifier app is currently available for Android Wear 2-compatible devices. It requires a licensed SIMATIC Notifier server (software download) for operation. Each license covers up to 50 compatible devices.
