Key Operated Switch

Key operated switches restrict a control to whoever holds the key, so a mode change, bypass or reset cannot be made by anyone who happens to be standing at the panel. Panels get one when a bypass or maintenance mode has to be kept from operators, when a lost key has left a function stranded, or when an audit requires a physical restriction rather than a password.

As an authorized electrical distributor for multiple manufacturers, we stock key operated switches from Euchner, ABB, Hubbell and more across competing lines, in a range of cam codes, actuators and bezel sizes, so you can match the cam code and keying a site already uses, compare cam codes and bezel sizes across brands, and keep a critical function under a key. Same-day shipping on in-stock items ordered before 2pm local time.
