Catalog Description: HellermannTyton Spiralwrap provides an effective means for routing and securing wires around corners and bends, and helps keep wires out of pinch points within moving panel doors. Spiralwrap is installed using a gapped or butted installation which impacts harnesses flexibility, wire coverage and abrasion resistance. A gapped installation leaves space between the sheathing to accommodate breakouts and adds flexibility to the harness. A butted installation wraps tightly around the bundle to provide greater abrasion resistance and add rigidity. Natural PA6 nylon material is recommended for use within enclosed environments where possibility of fire exists. Black PA6 nylon material is suitable for outdoor applications and can be used in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
