Catalog Description: This XS9 is a part of the OsiSense XS product range of inductive proximity sensors. Inductive proximity sensors enable the detection, without physical contact, of metal objects. Its range of applications is very extensive and includes monitoring the position of machine parts (cams, end stops, etc.) or counting the presence of metal objects. These sensors have high operating rates, fast response, and excellent resistance to industrial environments (robust products, fully encapsulated in resin). The range of this sensor is 0.08in (2mm) to 1.06in (27mm). The sensor accepts 12VDC to 24VDC power and provides an analog current output from 4mA to 20mA along with an output state LED. The sensor is a non flush mountable PBT sensor with a five position turret head and screw clamp terminals. It is compliant with UL, CE, CSA, and CCC standards and IP65, IP67, and IP69K rated.
