Catalog Description: This XSD is a part of the OsiSense XS product range of inductive proximity sensors. Inductive proximity sensors enable the detection, without physical contact, of metal objects. Its range of applications is very extensive and includes monitoring the position of machine parts (cams, end stops, etc.) or counting the presence of metal objects. These sensors have high operating rates, fast response, and excellent resistance to industrial environments (robust products, fully encapsulated in resin). The range of this sensor is 1.18in (30mm) to 2.36in (60mm). The sensor accepts 43VAC to 132VAC power and provides a normally open or normally closed discrete output. The sensor is a non flush mountable plastic sensor with a five position turret head and screw clamp terminals. It is compliant with UL, CSA, and CE standards and IP67 rated.
