As Illinois already has done, the states of Wisconsin and Indiana have now issued a “stay at home” order requiring all non-essential businesses to suspend operations as of tomorrow, Wednesday, March 25th. That being said, because of the products we supply to our life sustaining customers, Standard Electric has been classified as an essential business and, therefore, will remain open at all of our Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin locations.
We will continue to perform all essential activities necessary to support your business. We will continue to provide updates on our supply chain and operations as we are informed. In the meantime, we would encourage you to keep our sales team informed of any upcoming strategic buys you foresee so we can take active measures to ensure we are ready to help. To support the global effort to contain the spread of COVID-19, many Standard Electric associates have been asked to work remotely. While our associates may not be allowed at your facility as part of these efforts, they will all continue to be accessible and prepared to support you. Just give us a call!
