- 100% rated lever bypass with clamping action on meter
- Factory installed lug or 3/8 in stud connection
- Constructed of galvannealed steel with polyester powder finish
- Glass fiber reinforced polyester, high strength arc and track-resistant block assembly
- Lever operated jaw release, moving lever up closes bypass and unclamps meter blade
- Bypass connection is completed before meter blade is released, thus eliminating meter blade to jaw terminal arcing the cover cannot be replaced with the lever in the bypassed position
- Terminals are 3/8-24 cold headed, zinc plated, steel stud with nuts and captive Belleville washer to accommodate various pressure type lug
- The flat washer supplied must be installed directly beneath the Belleville washer
- Track-resistant transparent polycarbonate insulating safety shield provides protection from accidental shorts and shocks
- 1-phase meter, the insert rejects normal width terminal blade, yet admits the TALON class 320 narrower upper right hand blade
- The insert is field installable but cannot be removed in the field
- 60162 and 61300 lug are also rated for (2) 250 kcmil
