Plug Fuse

Plug fuses screw into an Edison base like a lightbulb, which is how branch circuits were protected in homes and small commercial buildings before breakers replaced them. Small shops still buy them when an older panel is in service and a circuit has blown, when a rental property needs its fuse box kept working until a rewire, or when a tamper-resistant type has to replace a plain one to stop over-fusing.

As an authorized electrical distributor for multiple manufacturers, we stock plug fuses from Bussmann and more across competing lines, in a range of amperage ratings, so you can match the rating the circuit was designed for, compare types and ratings across brands, and keep an older service safely fused. Same-day shipping on in-stock items ordered before 2pm local time.
